Solar is a multi-discipline job. We bring in our MCS-approved partner (Tate Electrical Ltd) for the panels and system design, and we handle every part of the electrical integration ourselves. You deal with one person from start to finish.

What size solar PV system do I need?

Can I add battery storage later?
Yes — but it's significantly cheaper to install it at the same time as the PV. Retrofit battery installation typically costs £500–£1,500 more than fitting it during the original install due to additional electrical work, scaffolding visits and commissioning. If you can stretch to it at install time, do it.
Do you handle the DNO notification?
Yes. All solar PV installations need to be notified to Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN — the DNO for Hampshire). We handle the G99 or G98 notification on your behalf as part of the install. You won't need to fill in any forms.
What if my roof isn't suitable?
We'll tell you honestly at survey stage. North-facing roofs with heavy shading rarely pay back. Steeply pitched south-facing roofs are perfect. Flat roofs work fine with ballasted mounting. If your roof genuinely won't work, we'll tell you — we'd rather lose the job than install a system that disappoints you.
